Teacher Notes:
The
teacher may want to print out the questions that correspond to the interactive
timeline prior to the students getting on the computer.

list
from the Quia site can be printed out for the bingo cards, or the teacher
could make bingo cards using the bingo
list.

Using
the Internet, visit the Nova site on the history of money, and click on
the interactive
timeline.
Answer
timeline
questions.
Read
about the history
of money online at the Nova site.
Review
facts associated with money in different formats (i.e.,
concentration, flashcards, wordsearch).
Play
bingo with the
history of money facts.
Modifications:
Add
pictures to bingo cards to appeal to a visual style of learning.
Pair
students, so that one student can read the bingo cards, appealing to the
auditory learners.
Recreate
the timeline on posterboard, appealing to tactile learners.
Make
any other modifications, according to the IEP.
Enrichment activity:
Make
timeline templates. Have relay races to see who can be the fastest
team to correctly arrange all the monetary events in chronological order.
