Learner Outcomes:
    The students will research a European country (i.e., the geography, economy and currency).
    The students will give a PowerPoint presentation on their chosen country.

Duration:
    This activity will require 90 minutes at a minimum.

Materials
    PowerPoint tutorial

Technology Tools:
    Computer with Internet
    Computers with PowerPoint program
    LCD Projector for presentations
    Screen or Whiteboard for projection

Teacher Notes:
    Load tutorials ahead of time for faster access for students
    Develop a list of Internet sites for the individual countries to be researched
    Schedule library time for research

Procedure:
    1.  The student will choose one European country, and research its geography, economy and currency (conversions).
    2.  The student will complete a PowerPoint tutorial.
    3.  The student will enter the research into a PowerPoint presentation.
    4.  The student will present information from his or her research.

Modifications:
    Pair students for presentations.
    Students who do not have signed acceptable use policy on file, should use library.
    Make any other modifications, according to the IEP.
