Illnesses are a part of the students' everyday life. We will encourage children to learn about the causes of illnesses and diseases and also about the prevention of those. They will learn to develop healthy habits that will stay with them.
Learner Outcomes include:

- Students will become familiar with diseases and their symptoms.
- Students will explain what will prevent some diseases.
- Students will be able to show how, when, and why you should wash your hands.
- Students will explain the causes and prevention of chicken pox.
- Students will recognize factors that trigger, and the treatments for, the noncommunicable disease, asthma .
- Students will recognize the results of sun damage of their skin and learn ways to protect it.
