Description This unit will give the students the opportunity to explore
dialect, apply story elements, and hone presentation skills
from a variety of sources involving Appalachian literature
and culture. Reading, mapping, visual presentations, and
technology will be used to give the students an understanding
of this culture, its people and their heritage.
