Description This is a brief history of African Americans from the
beginning of slavery in America to the Civil Rights Movement.
During this unit students will visit Africa and America.
They take a virtual ride on the Underground Railroad. The
students meet Harriet Tubman, Booker T. Washington, Abraham
Lincoln, Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, Jr.
The 21st Century Tools Computers, Internet Access, Printer, PowerPoint, LCD, Projection Screen
