Description America's Pride is a unit designed to teach students the
significance of patriotic symbols and national landmarks.
Students will understand the importance of the preservation
of historic sites and develop a sense of ownership and pride.
The 21st Century Tools Computers, linked websites, internet access,
word processing software, and printers.
Grade Level 4

Uses the general skills and strategies of the writing process.
Uses the stylistic and rhetorical aspects of writing.
Reading:
Uses the general skills and strategies of the reading process.
Uses reading skills and strategies to understand and interpret a variety of literary texts.
