| Description | This unit teams a primary class with an intermediate class to
explore different activities in the writing process. A primary student and an intermediate student are teamed up to become Writing Buddies. The lessons start with a basic concept of word and word families. Then lessons progress to scientific journaling, short stories, and friendly letters. By the end of the year, or when teachers decide to end the unit, students will be ready for a writing celebration to share their writing accomplishments. | |
