Description Our Sun: Friend or Foe? is an integrated thematic unit
which focuses on our nearest star--the sun. Students
will explore benefits of the sun and will learn about
its dangers as well. Activities include creating a
classroom display, researching facts about the sun,
utilizing thermometers and recording temperatures,
dramatizing multicultural folklore about the sun
and experimenting with sunscreens.
