Description The students will brainstorm a list of qualities that heroes
posess and write brief sketches of people they consider to be
heroes. The students will use the internet to research
various heroes, and develop a survey for the entire student
body to complete. From that data, the students will create a
bar graph titled "Top 10 Heroes". The students will play a
mathematics game that combines addition and words that
describe the qualities of heroes. The students will write
pattern poems reviewing the qualities of heroes, write
paragraphs about the heroes that were researched, and
make a "Wall of Heroes".
