Description In these elementary lessons, students will do various
activities such as: interview a physician and report
this information in the school newspaper, discover how
to measure your heart rate and that heart rate varies
with physical activities, learn the universal sign for
choking and what to do in case of choking, causes of
and treatment for bleeding, prevention of and treatment
for insect bites and stings. This will be accomplished
through discussion, online exploration, and group and
individual activities.
