Description This is a cross-curriculum unit designed to show what roles the
Humanities played during the Civil War Era. The unit will
cover such topics as music, photography, and literary works.
It will also introduce the students to artists such as Mathew
Brady, and Harriet Beecher Stowe. The students will also use
various multimedia such as Powerpoint to develop a final
project based on the Humanities from this time.
